Known as the oldest cave in the world and made up of the second oldest known sedimentary rocks on Earth. Explore 600 metres of pre-cambrian dolomite rocks that date back around 3 million years. The caves are open 365 days a year from 08:30 – 16:30.
3. Jane Goodall Institute – Chimp Eden
Established in 2006, Chimp Eden has grown as a sanctuary for misplaced chimpanzees within Umhloti Nature Reserve. Meander along the viewpoints overlooking the forest and three semi-wild enclosures each containing an individual chimp group.
4. Long Tom Toboggan
Head out for a day of exhilarating family-friendly fun at Long Tom Toboggan. Featuring an impressive 1.7km track – the longest in Africa – and speeds of up to 45 kilometres per hour, enjoy the scenery and the whistling wind as you race down the slopes.
5. Graskop Gorge Glass Lift and Big Swing
A new addition to the town of Graskop, the glass lift offers panoramic views as visitors descend 51 metres to the Afromontane forest floor. From there, walk along the guided paths, discover six wonderful exhibits, and marvel a majestic waterfall.
For all the adrenaline junkies out there, venture just around the corner to the Big Swing and Zipline.

7. Casterbridge Lifestyle Centre

Head to Hazyview to Shiloh Coffee Estate. Settled on the banks of a beautiful lake in the Sabie River Valley, this tranquil establishment serves locally grown coffee and delicious home-baked goods including cakes, waffles and quiche.
10. Aviation Adventure Flying Club
Take to the skies for an unforgettable microlight flight in the Bantam B22 aircraft. Trips range from 10 – 90 minutes. The club also offers skydiving opportunities for anyone seeking an adrenaline fueled adventure.
11. Burning Barrels Shooting Range
